You wedding vows are more than you would expect.

That’s a big statement.
And of course, you don’t have to write your own wedding vows. No one said you HAD to.
That’s sort of like your mother talking, “I told you!You HAVE to clean your room.”
Some defiance in the response?
I use the ‘must’ because it really is important for couples to write their own wedding vows in order to claim them and live from them.
The claim means that they have clasped them to their chests and refused to let them go. They mean to have what those vows represent.
Take the idea of something you wanted as a kid that you rfused to let go of and went out and keep going until you had that thing.
For me it was a typewriter.
